"The next generation" could also be a good title for the group of winemakers we pool in this category. However, it would not be totally correct, as many of them have already run their estate for quite a while. However, during the last decade these wine makers have stepped out of the shadow of the traditional famous names like J.J. Prüm, Bassermann-Jordan or Robert Weil to name only a few.

With a background from the famous university of Geisenheim, internships in old & new world wine regions and a container full of self-confidence these producers are currently leading the movement within Germany. While others stick rigorously to their traditions, these winemakers are discovering the world of wine with open eyes, have new and sometimes unusual ideas and a totally new approach referring to quality. Vice versa the world is discovering their wines.
